This is a collaboration with Moonie Moonie.

Yohei Shikano and I started these tunes as an excuse to hang out and experiment with new textures, sounds, and instruments. When it became clear that we had something we liked and the tracks were taking on a life of their own we invited Seth Ford Young and Miles Senzaki to add to what we had started. Layering their sonic personalities into the mixes added further depth and brought the tunes into focus.

Listening to these will always bring me back to hot afternoons in Yohei's recording hut. Drinking way too much iced coffee, playing with the dogs Bella (RIP) and Chester, and letting the days slip away while exploring music with some of the best guys I know.
